Sassy is staying here at Desert. She was the first born (just a shade under a pound, poor Storm) and the only orange belton in the litter. I just love her solid dark pigment and lovely expression. She has a wonderful attitude and is going to be fun! Sassy went to her first show in Cincinnati, Ohio. After a long drive to Seattle, a big plane trip, and sorting out the hotel room with some new doggy buddies, she placed 3rd in the 6-9 month puppy bitch class in an entry of 17. As this was at the ESAA National Specialty, it was a nice win for this sweetheart. She was still teething and had a tender mouth, so was withheld from further competition during the show, but had lots of fun and met new people and dogs. It was a grand adventure for this girl.
Sassy had a practice time at a couple of sanction matches and won 2 Group 1sts and one Best in Match. She went to a set of shows in Vernon BC, and as the only english setter and a class bitch, she made the cut in a big Sporting Group. Sassy has now started her Canadian Title with a nice Group 3rd win at the Kamloops shows. The judge was Terry Carter, and it was a 3 point win. The following day, under judge Lorriane Boutwell from the US, she won a Group 4th, for another 3 points. This girl is fun!
She shows just like her daddy, smooth and clean, happy and willing!
Below is a photo from PSESC weekend, out of coat, but showing well and happy!
She is not quite 18 months of age. There are new videos and pictures from the PSESC weekend on her picture link, when Jennifer Holmberg showed her after my back went out on the third day of showing. Thanks Jennifer!
