Katniss got her name at birth, she fit inside of my hand and was tiny, but mighty. Her name is a Hunger Games reference, Katniss was also called Girl on Fire in the books/movies. Right from go she wanted to nurse, and has never looked back. She caught up to her sisters by about 12 weeks and is super smart. She will do something, just to show you she can :) and is a real sass. She caught on to nose work quickly, and works like her mom, diligently and thoughtfully.
Katniss now lives in Berkely, CA with Susan and Andy. We co own her, and she will be shown in both the US and Canada. She's settled into life in a city, thanks to Susan and Andy's help. She has completed a couple of obedience class sessions, has made a bunch of new friends and is a happy girl. Absolutely I miss her, but she will come back to Canada when Susan and Andy want to head on an extended trip.
